BUSINESS MENTORING tops the agenda this week as the third event in The Herald/Sunday Herald mentoring series takes place this Friday at the Glasgow Audi conference centre in Braehead.
It offers people running their own businessess the opportunity to talk to leading entrepreneurs and find out how they succeeded.
This week's panel includes Douglas Anderson, the founder and executive director of eyecare technology company Optos. Having founded four start-ups, he has 30 years' experience in designing products and taking them to market.
Alongside him will be Rita Rusk, managing director of hairdressing group Rita Rusk International. She also runs a hairdressing school and an events business and is a member of the council of the Institute of Directors Scotland.
The third panellist is Iain Morgan, chief executive of Active Corporate, one of our fastest-growing accountancy firms.
Keith Anderson, the chief executive of Boston Networks, is the fourth panellist. With a staff of more than 70 and offices in London, Manchester and Glasgow, he specialises in data communications and internet protocol technology.
The event will be jointly chaired by Alf Young, assistant editor of The Herald, and Ken Symon, the Sunday Herald's business editor.
