Blair as President of the EU would be a disaster. Unless they want Bush's ex poodle after the owner has got the chop! I can't imagine anyone worse nor anyone who has more contempt for international law, human rights and EU treaties. Blair is a failure. He has destroyed the Labour party (Brown is the patsy but it was Blair who finally sold their soul to the Tories) and his decision to back Bush on Iraq was a major blunder which has cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. By giving Bush a fig leaf of international support Blair made the invasion possible. His Government regularly showed contempt for the European Charter of Human Rights. [bold]Why on earth would the EU want a man who does not share their values to be their leader?[/bold] If they want to make the EU unpopular on a worldwide basis then Blair is the right man for the job, otherwise pick someone else.

If Blair were to become president it would be detrimental to Scotland's prospects for independence. Blair has no love for Alex Salmond and he would stick the boot in whenever he could. No, we need a President from another EU country. We would expect him/her to be much fairer minded in dealings with Scotland.

The newly created position for president of the European Union Council of Ministers is due to commence as of January 2009, and even though an announcement has not as yet been officially made as to just who is going to fulfill that role, expect an announcement to be made relative to that matter no later than of December of this year. Thus far, retired British Prime Minister Tony Blair is the forerunner, or the hot favourite, to fulfill that role.  However, whoever is appointed to that role will  be the Biblical Antichrist, and that will be clarified by his confirmation of a seven year Middle East peace treaty very shortly after having received his crown as the full time president of the EU very early on in the new year. For the confirmation of the seven year Middle East treaty please read  Revelation Chapter 6, Verse 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Both quotations are taken from the only true and accurate version of the Bible the King James Version.       Relative to that assumption that the retired British Prime Minister is the Beast of Revelation by his appointment as the full time European Union Council of Ministers president there are going to be some that are going to find my comments on this website informative and helpful in the complete understanding of the Bible prophecies. Nonetheless, there may be others that are going to totally disagree with everything that I have put onto the site thus far; On the other hand, there may be some students of Bible prophecy that are going to find my remarks not only out of order, but completely out of perspective comparative to what to how the scriptures identify the Antichrist. After all, everyone is entitled to his or her own viewpoints one way or another, and from the readers of this site I would expect nothing more or less.    (As yet, there has not as yet been an official announcement made as to just who is to fulfill the role of the European Union Council of Ministers, and that being the case we cannot say for certain just who the Antichrist is? Therefore, we cannot state with an absolute certainty that Blair is the Antichrist up until that official announcement has been made relative to just who is going to fulfill the role the European Union Council of Ministers, and more or less everything that is said thus far relative to the correct identity of the Antichrist will be nothing more than a mild form of conjecture; that is, up until the end of this year when that official announcement has been made, all of the aforesaid has been mentioned at the beginning of this article.)   Nonetheless, there are two perspectives to consider relative to the supposition that Blair is the Beast of Revelation. The first one is that Blair is the Antichrist - and that even know he is beginning to fulfill a true Antichrist agenda, see the other articles in this site relative to supposition that Blair is the Beast. The other is that even though Blair is not the Antichrist, he is paving the way for the real Beast of Revelation to be revealed by the end of this year, by this as yet unknown person who will be officially appointed as the president of the European Union Council of Ministers. However, with a constant reference right throughout the Holy Scriptures themselves to the Beast being a lion, or a person of British descent, in the light of both of these suggestions there can be no doubts whatsoever that the Antichrist is going to come out of Britain, and that if is not Blair then to be certain the Beast is going to come out of the house of Windsor, or the British Royal Family: Proof, proof you may say, look no further than Psalm 91 of the King James Version, Verses 13 and 14. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.   Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name…?  In this instance, the terminology of the word lion is mentioned twice, with the inference being that the young lion refers to the Antichrist, with the common knowledge being that the serpent refers to Satan. Subsequently, there are also no doubts that verse 14 refers to the Rapture of the Church.   Yet, in the chronological sense of being young as we know it on this day and in the instance of both Tony Blair and Charles Windsor neither would fit into the category of what one would consider being young. Therefore, with the interpretation of King James Version of Psalm 91 we are faced with a dilemma in the sense of the Antichrist is described as being a young lion when neither of the two aforementioned possible candidates fitting into the area of what most people would generally consider to be young; that is, a person under the age of say thirty years?  Although in the time that the Bible was handed down to the angels to be delivered over to the prophets to be written down, middle age may have been considered to be young, that, in an age when some of the Biblical prophets lived for hundreds of years? However, even though I do not consider him personally to be the Antichrist, if we are looking for a young lion in the sense of how we know young to be in this day and age, then look no further than William (Prince William) Windsor.   As I had made mention of above at the beginning of this article - With Tony Blair still being the favourite to be appointed as The full time EU president, and he still being the leading proponent of Middle East peace as he heads the international quartet of four, Russia, the United States, the European Union, and the United Nations, there is now more news that is beginning to emerge of a seven year Middle East peace treaty being confirmed by the newly appointed president of the EU, thereby fulfilling the prophecies of Daniel Chapter 9, Verse 27, now read on:   BERLIN (Reuters) - German Chancellor Angela Merkel and peace envoy Tony Blair will jointly organise a Middle East peace conference to be held at the beginning of June in Berlin, German daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) reported on Friday.   All European Union members, several Arab states, the Middle East quartet of Russia, the United States, the European Union and the United Nations, and Palestinian and Israeli officials will be invited to the talks, the paper said, without identifying the source of its information.   The aim of the meeting, which will be at the level of foreign ministers, will be to push forward the peace process and prepare Palestinians to take over responsibility for their own state, the paper added, in a preview of its Saturday edition.
